The Chair operates with a permanent staff of approximately eighteen people, augmented as needed by other contributors (consultants, professors, students, assistants and research professionals).
This flexible organizational structure provides the Chair with the skilled, versatile personnel it needs to fulfil its various mandates. Participatory management, based on trust, plays a large role in keeping the Transat Chair in Tourism running smoothly. A pro-active approach, constant concern for quality and support for initiatives also characterize the Chair’s management style and shape its corporate culture.
